Menopause Advice at Swanage Therapy Centre with Claire Twistleton
Are you looking for advice, support, information and a safe space to talk about menopause? Do you feel overwhelmed by your feelings and symptoms and feel that you need time to explore them with someone who has both the time and the desire to listen to you and to help you. Claire is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health & menopause, backed up with comprehensive training & experience.
Claire can offer you advice & research-based information, time to listen to you & a two-way conversation around your worries. She hopes to empower you to understand more about menopause and your experiences as you go through this next stage of your life. She will work with you to formulate a plan to help you talk to your nurse or GP in a structured way in order for you to take the next steps with HRT if that is what you decide would work for you.
Not every woman is able to use HRT and it is important you have the time to explore that there may be other ways to ease you through the menopause without HRT.
Claire offers relaxed 45-minute appointments (chats!) at The Swanage Therapy Centre which she can follow up with written advice & a plan that you could take to your nhs surgery.
She looks forward to meeting you & helping you through what can sometimes be an incredibly difficult & challenging (but don’t forget - totally natural) part of your life.
